Fulvio Bianconi
Vase in “pezzato” glass made of tiny irregularly-shaped polychrome tesserae
Bianconi experimented considerably with pezzato glass vases, and also produced versions with tiny melted and irregularly-shaped polychrome tesserae recalling murrine glass vases. Very few items made with this technique exist today, and all were presumably test pieces or made for one exhibition or another.
